12

I listened,

For an empty sound.

You looked,

For what would never be found.

It all began,

And stopped,

Right then.

If,

You go right,

I’ll be left.

You whisper those words,

And I go deaf.

Your eyes,

They shine,

Constellations,

You find.

They break

They fade,

And now you’re blind.

My heart remains,

Still aligned.

I stopped,

Lost balance,

Then I fell.

You catch me,

You feel it,

You could tell.

And now,

I begin

Left with,

Just this.

My reason,

Is you.

You are,

The one.

Your love,

is fatal.

You heart,

a gun.

Take it,

From you.

The one.

Your danger,

Secures.

Inside me,

It lures.

Those

Lies you tell,

Like missiles

They fell.

Exploding,

I fade.

But now,

You stay.

I become,

A misconception.

To fit inside

Of your perception.

And I’ll deceive,

Until you believe.

I want you,

All of you.

Then I want,

You some more,

Right now,

Right here,

More than,

Ever before.

Your body,

The heat.

Your skin,

I live,

Underneath.

Blood on my hands,

No shame.

A game,

I play coy.

But your soul,

I want to destroy.

But,

Those words you speak,

They speak to me.

Your eyes,

They wander over me.

Those moves you make,

You move in me.

Your lust,

It takes control of me.

Every step you take,

You’ve taken me.

You close your eyes,

Let go of me.

You win again,

You’ve murdered me.

 Your heart,

It beats,

Abuses me.

A broken song,

Goes on and on.

A hollow sound,

‘Til we fall to the ground.

Now,

And then,

Before,

And when.

My sanity,

You stole.

My heart,

What’s left,

One half of a whole.

Confined,

In a limitless space.

Backwards,

In a steady pace.

Lost,

With a map.

Wander,

Lap after lap.

My heart,

Won’t mend.

This love,

Wears thin.

It ends,

Again,

Just to begin.

I let you go,

You let me in.

Tune you out,

Feel your doubt.

I lose,

You find.

Your eyes,

So kind.

Full of lies.

My one,

My only,

My demise.
